Our post-production facilities consist of Final Cut Pro software installed on multiple PowerMac edit stations. Each of these Edit stations is connected to Shared Area Network (SAN) storage.

There are two separate independent SAN storage systems which provide a level of redundancy and back-up for one another.

These FCP systems are used for both in-house Programme making and for Promotions & Trailer production.

Each Final Cut Pro system is loaded with Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, After Effects etc) which provides Editors with the tools to enable them to enhance creativity.

In addition to the FCP suites, we have a number of NewsEdit stations. These are used for editing fast-turnaround ENG packages for insertion in our daily live sports news programmes.

We hire out our Edit suites on both a dry or wet hire basis. We can provide a fast turnaround editing solution for news gathering with immediate onward delivery to news channels in the UK, Europe, USA and beyond.

In addition, we can provide space for hire, should you need a short or long term central Dublin base for locating your own edit equipment.

We have a built-up an in-house team of designers with unique experience in tv graphics. Whether it be lower thirds, programme titles, sports event clock/scores, league tables or on-screen stats, we can design and deliver your tv graphics needs.

In addition, we have a pool of freelancers that are available for one-off projects such as 3D virtual studio design.

Our team are trained in Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, Cinema 4D and other graphics packages.

We use a combination of high-end Aston 3D and Pixelpower Clarity graphics generators to add on-screen graphics to live sports, news and studio events.

Our audio recording studios are equiped with state-of-the-art industry standard technology. The voice-over facilities consist of a Digidesign dCommand 24-Channel Control Surface interfaced with Protools, allowing us to fully mix multiple audio tracks and VO’s to a high professional level.

The Pro-tools suite is used for mixing audio for on-screen Promotions, Trailers, Commercials and Documentary programming.

In addition, we have multiple voice-over commentary booths kitted out with the following equipment:

• BSS & Klark Teknik quad compressor limiters.
• Sennheiser microphones.
• Glensound commentary units.
• Coles lip-ribbon microphones.
• Calrec and Mackie mixers.

These allow us to add a variety of language tracks to incoming live feeds. We currently add English language commentary to sports feeds on our English language tv services, French language commentary on the Setanta Afrique tv channel and Russian language commentary on the Setanta EurAsia tv channel.

These facilities are available for dry or wet hire. In addition we can provide voice-over and commentary artists in the language of your choice.
